We are lucky north of Melbourne to be the offered a constant stream of new cafes and restaurants. Being a self confessed foodie and happy to try new eateries...I can claim to have found my new favourite! De Clieu opened 6 weeks ago at 187 Gertrude St Fitzroy and is well worth a visit! Opened by the coffee gurus from Seven Seeds, we have eaten there twice in one week. A simple menu is paired with great coffee - we ate a yummy toasted sandwich made with asparagus, caramelised onion and taleggio .... simple ingredients in a great combination!
