We are lucky north of Melbourne to be the offered a constant stream of new cafes and restaurants. Being a self confessed foodie and happy to try new eateries...I can claim to have found my new favourite! De Clieu opened 6 weeks ago at 187 Gertrude St Fitzroy and is well worth a visit! Opened by the coffee gurus from Seven Seeds, we have eaten there twice in one week. A simple menu is paired with great coffee - we ate a yummy toasted sandwich made with asparagus, caramelised onion and taleggio .... simple ingredients in a great combination! See you there! we are VERY excited to be launching our new summer collection at the same time we release the new and much improved website!
finally we are getting some warmer weather in melbourne and it is perfect! the sense of relief and freedom this change of season brings was the inspiration behind the new collection titled "away we go".
this collection has been so much fun to design. we have used gorgeous summer colours such as cornflower blue, apple green and red. we hope you get a sense of this fun from the photos - we shot over 5 long days and the results are fantastic!
our little grover was the star of the show yet again - ballooning off with our model Grace!
we will blog on and off to keep you up to date with news and updates here at Elk.
